Taking the time-out

Often sign that our body needs a rest are the headaches. Many times, taking the time
off in our everyday busy life doesn’t really sound like a good option. But actually, taking
the 10 minutes to lie down and relax is really a good tradeoff compared to being
incapacitated later on, after it gets worse. So next time, consider taking the time-out
rather than fighting the sleep and making the things worse.

Chill your forehead

In many cases, the nagging tension headache can completely disappear only by putting
a cold wet cloth or chilly compress over your forehead or eyes. People think that the pain
is gone because the ice shrinks, but sometimes – Your brain is paying attention to the
cold, and it’s not paying attention to the pain. At the end of the day it doesn’t really
matter how it works, if it works, just chill your forehead and relax.

Eat, Eat, Eat

Sometimes that fuzzy feeling and headache can just be a result of low blood sugar
caused by not eating anything in a while. If this is the case, eating something right away
could get you right back on the tracks. Grab some food rich with magnesium such as
spinach, sunflower, pumpkin seeds, or tofu and eat, eat, eat!!!
